Welcome!

Hello. My name is Lorissa and I am the owner of LP Farm Store. I have a 3 acre pumpkin patch and half acre vegetable garden(though to be honest, I'm not entirely sure how big my garden actually is. 3.5 acres is what a mapping tool suggests it is). I grow 60 varieties of winter squash and pumpkins. My main veggie crops are: garlic, potatoes, hot peppers, tomatillos, husk cherries, baby carrots, baby beets, and salsify. I also love growing flowers to dry and sell dried flower bouquets at farmers' markets. I'm also fond of sunflowers, gladiolus, and perennials that flower and can be dried. One of my hobbies is collecting mint plants and weird and unusual herb plants. Ever heard of strawberry mint or lime balm? How about orange thyme or banana mint?

Another hobby is growing giant pumpkins. The biggest I have grown was 432 lbs. It's amazing how much time and care goes into getting a giant pumpkin.

I love learning new things and love researching various topics. I have been gardening for roughly 35 years and hope to share some of my experiences and expertise with you.
