My favorite question is: can you eat gourds?  I'm sure you could, but you're teeth might not appreciate biting into them.   Gourds are used as decorations for Thanksgiving, fall, and Halloween decorating. I love growing gourds, as you never know what you're going to get. When picking the gourds it's like going on an Easter egg hunt.  Autumn Wing gourds look like alien birds, Crown of Thorn gourds look like Pac Men, and Lunch Lady gourds........, yeah they're big and warty.

Most herbs are quite easy to grow and the easiest to grow is mint. 

I've been growing pumpkins for 29 years, but this will be 2 years that I've been off of my dad's farm. I now start the season in my condo and move into my greenhouse in April, depending on the weather. I thought I knew how to grow things and last year and so far this year have been proving to be challenging. Last year my peppers and herbs grew well in my condo, but my tomatoes did terrible.
