In my opinion the garden is growing slow! I think paint dries faster than the veggies growing in my garden. Last year I pulled my garlic July 17, this year I'm pulling my softneck on July 29 and my hardneck Aug. 1.

The first batch of corn didn't get pollinated so it's not edible. The main variety I grow should be ready August 10. I finally have some beets growing and should have an abundance at the end of August, same with the carrots.

I thought I wouldn't have any sunflowers this year, but man did I end up with sunflowers. I usually do 2 rows and ended up with 4 rows. The bugs continue to make an appearance. Now it's the cabbage moths/worms and potato bugs. Thankfully garden veggies are delicious so I put up with all the things nature throws at me.

Hopefully August the garden will go into full grow mode!
