Heirloom vs Hybrid Seed

I wrote the above info graph in 2019 and GMO seeds were not readily available to home gardeners. There is now a purple tomato that is available to home gardeners. The article states "The tomato has had traits from snapdragons added to its genetic makeup". The fact that two different "species" (tomato and snapdragons) were used is what makes this GMO. A hybrid is taking a Carolina Reaper plant and crossing it with a Ghost pepper plant. It's the same species, just different varities.
